I took these pictures at a park near my house. I chose this park because it had a lake and for my landscapes I really wanted to have some water in them. Since I consider lakes or oceans to be a really good landscapes to take pictures of. I decided to take these pictures at around 3:00 pm since I consider the lighting at that time to be just right. And I didn't have to take these pictures at a certain angle since you could see the sky, tree's, and the lake straight ahead. There wasn't a certain feeling I was trying to express with my pictures I just liked the way the sky, tree's, and lake looked together. And the color contrast.
I took these pictures at same park. A challenge that I had while taking these pictures was that I wanted the main focus to be on the duck family. But I couldn't get to close because they wouldn't allow me to. So I tried getting as close as I could so that you would still be able to see the ducks. But there would also be other things included in the picture. A triumph that I had was that while editing this picture I made it look more like a painting rather than it looking like a picture. Also I liked the way the Monet painting made the picture have more of a cooler tone; rather than it having a really warm tone.
I took this picture at a park. I took it because I really liked the way the tree branches looked at an angle where you could only see the top of the tree and the sky. Which I thought was really cool. A challenge that I had while editing this picture was that I couldn't find a Monet painting that looked good; when I matched the color of the sky with the color of the painting that I chose. Also I had a bigger challenge while choosing the filters to make my picture s look more like an oil painting; without the filter's completely messing up the look of the color of the sky mixed with the orange and red from the Monet painting that I chose.
I took this picture while we were driving in the freeway. It was around 8:00 pm and the sun was about to set and I took it because I really liked the way the pastel colors from the sunset went along with the sky, and the cloud. A challenge that I had while taking this picture was taking it at an angle where you wouldn't be able to see any houses, or parts of the car, or lights that could ruin the natural lighting. Also another challenge that I had while taking this picture was that since we were driving the pictures would sometimes look blurry; because the car was moving so I had to make sure that the pictures did not look blurry.
I took this picture at the park. I really liked the clouds in the sky, and all of threes, and the light of the sun. Which is the brightest point of the picture. I also really liked how on my straight edit the is a little rainbow that appeared due to the sunlight. A struggle that I had while taking this picture was that the sun was right above the trees; so when I took the picture it came out really dark due to all of the sunlight. A triumph that I had was that when I edited my straight edit; I increased the light so that the final image wouldn't look too dark, and you would be able to see the details of the pictures a little better.
